Changes to my study programme, Blog 5

 ¡Hello everyone!

Well after thinking about the theme,and  in my ideal and talking about my experience with this study programme and thinking in the subjects i study in the preescolar education, I would like to change the adult-centric curriculum that is still considered to this day both in  kindergartens, schools and the university and with which I grew up and still see, the typical one where only students are taught as if they were "robots and sponges" that only absorb knowledge and nothing else, that their opinions, ideas or feelings are not taken into account, luckily there are few professors who are like that in this university, because for me, this type of teaching the only thing it achieves is that we as students are no longer interested in learning and enjoying that learning, but rather we are used to worrying more about grades and that is something worrying.

So I would change some subjects and the times that are given to them, for example, for me, the subject of health and child care is more important than the philosophy and epistemology of the social sciences, I think that the subjects that help you in practice and on a day-to-day basis are more necessary than the subjects that are more based on theory, and I repeat, I am only speaking from my perspective,in short, it will reduce the academic load and give more time and relevance to subjects that really contribute to our training as better professionals.

I believe that technologies and infrastructures are key to better learning, for example, at the university there is a psychomotor room that is very cool and i find that doing a class in that room is much better than sitting in a chair and listening to the teacher talk, and the same thing in these years, due to the pandemic, they had to adapt to technologies such as zoom, televisions in the classrooms, with monitors and smart boards, without a doubt with technology it is much easier to reach this generation of students, that we are so connected to her, it attracts much more attention and is more fun, I think for both parties, and to get out of the conventional and outdated methods of before, thanks to technologies everything can be solved much easier and learn in a more interesting and significant way, so I wouldn't make such a big change in the study program that I currently have.

Travel to..., blog 4

 Hello everyone ! 

Wow after thinking the wheter i would travel to the past or future, with this question the movie interestellar come my mind, which really blows your mind, and excellent movie and well with it you can realize the importance of the past and the future at the same time, and since everything connected and also the film Mr. Peabody and Sherman that also deal with the time travel, so thinking about it like this, i think i would like travel to the past exactly to the period of ancient Greece because i always be interesed into their architecture, their constructions, and their beautiful works. 

I would like to be able to witness how build their a temples, the materials and tools we they used, also interesting me their beliefs and they gods, and also i  would like  speak their language, and i would like some artist to make a scuplture of me, who knows if there is a statue of me in somewhere in the world hahaha and of course i would like to see their Olympic games, they seem very funny and it strikes me that centuries later they continue realizing and talking about them, it really seem to me very captivating time. 

However,  i would not stay to live in this period, because it sounds very nice to tell it that way, but it must also be said that it was very hard, rude and bloody time, especially because the war and the conquests, surely i would not survive a day 😂😂no thanks, i prefer to be save and secure in my house lying down whit my cell phone and don't fight into arena with a hopolite hahah.

Hello everyone!

As for me, in the future i would  like to be kindergarden educator, i know that educators sometimes have to do a lot of administrative work and they can work in different work environments such as museums, prisons, schools, hospitals, among others, so they have many opportunities to choose, in addition to whether these institutions are public or private, so i imagine it as a job where you can get to know many contexts, people, communities, families and work teams, with whom they must interact on a day-to-day basis, then certain skills or characteristics are needed such as being patient, kind, empathetic, attentive, respectful, cheerful, trustworthy and you must be a sociable and communicative person, among others, and i think i meet most of those characteristics.

Regardin the salary i always receive negative comments, for example "you will earn very little", or "you will have to have two jobs and choose another career, and that's sucks because i really want to study this and getting that feedback a lot of the time puts me off. 

But well, today i am in my third year of study and i decided to choose pedagogy in preschool education because i want to make a change in the education of children, give them a better future, where they feel sure of themselves and are competent human beings, leaving schooling aside and further promoting an education based on love and respect💖. 

Fun fact about me at the beginning i was interested in studying theater but after meeting some children i loved preschool education, and here i am now. loving my career 😍💘

My best holiday ever, Blog 2

 Hello everyone! 

So today im going talk about to my best holidays ever,  they strated in the last vacation, in summer of 2022, this vaction is so special to my ,because is the first vacation what do i share with my boyfiend, then im travel to "San Pedro, Melipilla" not "San Pedro de Atacama" :c haha, because the parents of my boyfriend they have a house in there, besides they have a friends from Argentina and they wanted i knowed the zone, and tradition of Chile, so my inlows invited to a tour for the zone, so started in a vineyard located in "Santa cruz", when we arrived i was shocked by how big and beautiful it was, the only bad it was i don't drink wine or other alcohol, so it was still boring at the time, but then i saw the cableway and that was amazing, we went up and the top there was a museum, of different cultures or topics for example Rapa Nui, Mapuche, or spaceships and meteors, also in the top there was a mini farm of "Llamas" and peacocks, it was a nice experiencie but tiring. 

The tour lasted a full week but im tell you only the most entertaining for me, so is a mini abstratc to my vacation, so i go to the "Trilla" a classic tradition in the field, where the horses in a circle crush the wheat to a grind, it was very interesting beacause i did´t know this tradition and never i saw that, but then it still became boring for the heat and there were no chairs to sit, then in the night i go to the BINGOO! and i win jeje so i really enjoy this 😋😃.

To finish the tour they go to a beach called "Pupuya" in there is a animal friendly restobar called "La Lobera" so we took my boyfriend puppies and after eating we played with them on the sand, and finally i finish the vacation with a great barbecue with good company😎.

 Hi! 

My favourite country is Japan, just like the teacher, as the profesor said it is in Asia and its capital is Tokyo, I started to be interested in Japan when i was in the school, because the teacher of my art elective it left us homework to know structures from other cultures and countries, so after search in the internet i found a image what me impress because was so magnific, later i found out that it was a temple of Kyoto, Japan, so i decided investigate more about the temple because is so beautiful and this are the curious facts i found, number one: the name of the temple is "Kinkakuji" ("templo dorado de Kioto") or also known as the golden pavilion,  number two : the temple is made of gold foil, number three: it has been considered a world heritage site since 1994, number four: it is the one of the most representative monuments of the classical Japanese culture and  if one day you visit it the entrance costs 400 yen. 

I would like to go to Japan because it is a country very rich in culture,  its beautiful streets, the manners of the people, their education and respect for the others, calls me attention a lot, but the most of the things i know about there , i admit it, are from doramas 😋. 

I love to see how the cities are especially Tokyo for the food , I would like to go to the market or a convenience store to know all the varieties of food they have and the strange food they sell, i would like to try the sushi and the onigiri 😍, and obviusly visit the temple of Kyoto, because for me is a magical place💫. 

And actually, I would not like to go live there or study or work, because their culture is very hierarchical and sexist at a certain point, in addition to the fact that they generally live off public opinion and that generates a lot of stress and complications in my life, so for me it is not an option.

So today im gonna talk about a little things about my life, so my name is Florencia Piña, yes like the fruit, im twenty years old, in this year i turn a twenty one and that scared me a little bit,  but it's ok, what more?, i live in la Florida,Santiago with my family, i have a pet, he is a dog and his name is loki because he is very crazy, i liked read books of romance, and i really love watch anime in my free times or simply sleep in my bed, other activity i liked is go out with my boyfriend to eat and finally i study preescolar education, in the "Universidad de Chile" and this is my third year and i love my career until now 💖.

Summer Holidays

 Hello everyone ! 

Honestly, talking about this, excites me because sincerely I'm couting the days for the summer holidays, above all these days because the final of the semester is horrible, so much works, tests, practice and presentesions, so right now I'm really stressed, and just want the semestrer to end.

So the first thing i´m gonna do after out of the Uni is sleep for a complete week haha, because i really need it, so then,  i´m thinking about i´m gonna work in something for to have money, i´m thinking work for two months and the last one, enjoy it with my boyfriend in the south of Chile. 

 I really want this because in the last year i couldn´t go with him, because the pandemic and my parents are so strict about this, so they said i could´t to go, and i'm very sadly for this, but they saied that this year i could travel with he in the summer holidays , so im very happy for this because i really enjoy when i'm with him. 

So with my boyfriend we decided we should travel with his parents and sister in the car ( really i love his family, now is like my second family 🥰 , so i´m happy to go with they ), because it is much safe and we save more money haha, so when we are in the south, we want to go to the Villarrica and the lake of Lican ray because this place is so beautiful and calm, also we want to ride a jet ski, and walk around the village and enjoy the food,  those are my plans for my summer holidays, and obviously after going on vacation with my family 💖.
